WHY USE A PET SITTER?
When You're Away
Change and disruption in routine is much harder for your pet to handle than
it is for you, its human. It can be especially upsetting to very young, older, or sick pets. Keeping the pet in
its home environment makes it easier for the pet to cope during your absence.
At even the best kennel, your pet is exposed to various illnesses and parasites
(fleas, etc.). Your pet may also find it hard to get the rest it needs at a kennel, which is habitually loud from unhappy
pets missing Mom and Dad.
Your house gets that "lived in" look while you're away. We'll rotate
lights on and off; open and close blinds, bring in the mail, newspaper, etc. Basically, you're getting house sitter
services for free.
When You're Home
Do you have a hectic schedule at work, unplanned overtime? If you
can't get home for your pet's potty break, we can help.
Does your calendar or physical restraints prevent you taking your dog for
the walk he demands? We can be there.
Is your baby convalescing? If he/she needs medication or just needs to be checked on, we'll be there.
If your pet needs to go to the vet and you are otherwise occupied, we'll
act as your pet taxi. Same goes for that all important beauty appointment at the groomer's.
Sorry, we will not pet sit
animals that require live
food, such as snakes. We
can, however, recommend
another local pet sitting service.
